Felicity Johnson wins Birmingham

Felicity Johnson (Harborne, Warwickshire)
has won the Birmingham Young Sportswoman of the Year
Title. This was a very tough category and the 17 year
old fought off a challenge from athletes, swimmers,
weightlifters and tennis, hockey and netball players.
The judges felt Felicity who is a member of the English
Ladies’ Golf Associations Elite Potential under
21 squad, performed extremely well throughout 2003
and this has earned her the Birmingham title.
Felicity said “I am very proud to have won this
prestigious title and look forward to a successful
season playing the full amateur circuit”.
