English players win full cards at LET School

Three former England internationals - Danielle Masters, Sarah Heath and Fame More - have all won full cards to play on the Ladies European Tour next season.
Danielle, 22, from Kent , led the way for England at the Tour's qualifying school at La Cala in southern Spain . She was fifth on two-under par (74, 72, 70, 74) and was only two shots behind the winner.
During her amateur career Danielle played in the Curtis Cup and holed the winning putt in the 2003 Vagliano Trophy.
Sarah Heath, 23, (The Belfry) and Fame More, 24, from Derbyshire, were both in a group of five players on six-over par. Sarah, a former English girls' champion, scored 77, 73, 74, 74 and won the 19 th ranked card thanks to her final round. Fame (74, 75, 73, 76) took the 21 st card.
Fame was the 2004 English mid-amateur champion and her amateur record included two appearances in both the Curtis Cup and Vagliano Trophy teams.
Three England amateurs also played at Tour school but missed the 54-hole cut, which saw exactly 50 players survive and which fell at nine-over par (228)
Rachel Bell (Ganton) was closest to the mark. The Yorkshire player was tied 60 th at 12-over (79, 77, 75), three shots ahead of Laura Eastwood (Yelverton) who hauled herself up the leaderboard with a third round of 71, two under par. The English strokeplay champion finished in a share of 74 th place at 15-over par (81, 82, 71). Yorkshire 's Michelle Smith (The Oaks) was one shot further back on 16-over and in 77 th place (80, 78,77).

Three English amateurs are fighting to make the 54-hole cut at the Ladies European Tour qualifying school at La Cala in southern Spain .
The top 50 players and ties will go through to tomorrow's final round. After 36 holes the best placed English amateur is Rachel Bell (Ganton) who shares 62nd place on ten-over par (79, 77).
Two shots behind is her Yorkshire colleague Michelle Smith (The Oaks) whose scores of 80, 78 put her in a tie for 75 th place.
English strokeplay champion Laura Eastwood (Yelverton) is lying 92 nd after scoring 81, 82.

Three English amateurs have won through to the final stage of the Ladies European Tour qualifying school at La Cala, near Malaga in southern Spain .
They are English strokeplay champion Laura Eastwood of Yelverton, Devon , and the Yorkshire players Rachel Bell (Ganton) and Michelle Smith (The Oaks).
They are among the top 44 players and ties from the 36-hole pre-qualifying event. They go forward to join 46 exempt players at the final stage, which starts tomorrow and continues until Tuesday.
Laura, a 21-year-old England international, tied fourth in pre-qualifying with scores of 74, 73 for a one-over par total.
Rachel, 23, a member of ELGA's Elite Performance Squad, was two shots behind (73, 76) and shared 12 th place.
Michelle, a Yorkshire county player, birdied two of the last four holes of the second round for a seven over par total (78, 75) and got through with a shot to spare.
Those who failed to make it included Michelle's identical twin sister Cheryl Smith (The Oaks) and England international and ELGA order of merit winner Sophie Walker ( Kenwick Park ). They both scored 79, 78.
England internationals head for Tour school

England internationals Sophie Walker and Laura Eastwood will bid to join the Ladies European Tour when the qualifying school begins at La Cala in Spain on Wednesday.
Sophie, 21, from Kenwick Park in Lincolnshire , is England 's No 1 amateur for 2005, having won the ELGA order of merit. Laura, 21, from Yelverton in Devon , is the English strokeplay champion.
They were both members of England 's winning Home International side. Sophie was also in the victorious teams in the Vagliano Trophy and the Spirit International Amateur Championship in the USA .
The LET qualifying school for the 2006 season has attracted a record entry of 165. Sophie and Laura are among the 119 players who have to pre-qualify in a 36-hole competition which starts on Wednesday. The successful competitors will join 46 players who are already exempt to make a field of 90 - and ties - at the final stage, which starts on Saturday, November 19.
