Chloe Court wins Astor Salver

Goodwood’s Chloe Court won the Astor Salver
at The Berkshire for the second time, finishing three
shots clear of up-and-coming teenager, Hannah Barwood.
Chloe, who was losing finalist in the 2002 English
championship, scored 75 on the Blue course and 74
on the Red for a three-over par total for the day.
She also won this tournament in 2000 when she was
in a tie for first place.
Fourteen-year-old Hannah Barwood (Knowle) opened
with 74 but lost ground with a second round 78. She
is a member ELGA’s Sport England, lottery-funded
World Class training programme, with a place in the
Elite potential girls’ squad.
Letchworth golfer Samathan Moore had a hole-in-one
on the 159-yard par three 5th hole on the Red course.
