Carole Caldwell runner-up in European Seniors 14 June

England’s Carole Caldwell was runner-up in
the 54-hole ladies’ European seniors championship
at Chantilly, France.
The Sunningdale golfer was the only English player
in the event, which was won by Cecilia Mourgue D’Algue
of France.
Carole is a former Curtis Cup player who represented
England four times in the home international matches.
She is a member of the England team which won the
senior home internationals last year and in 2003,
and she has twice won the English senior ladies’
strokeplay championship.
