Julie Ross wins Royal Birkdale Scratch Trophy

England international Julie Ross shot eleven-under
par over 36 holes to win the Royal Birkdale ladies’
scratch trophy by two strokes, 22 July 2005.
Julie, from Whitley Bay, trailed Welsh international
Stephanie Evans by three shots at the half-way stage
of the competition. But the Northumberland player
overtook her rival with her afternoon 67, which was
the low score of the day.
